Our FCA club is meeting every Tuesday morning at 9 am in the downstairs D lobby for student-led devotion. Please feel free to join them.
If you have any issues with your schedule for next semester please fill out the schedule change form that was sent out by Mrs. Sweet. Please do NOT email schedule change requests! If your request can only be viewed and considered on the Google form. The requests are reviewed by the order received. The form will close on 01/15/2024.
Check-ins and EOCs are quickly approaching! Our Next Check-in is Dec 4th-Dec 6th. We now have 13 more class days until your EOC’s! Please remember that check-ins and EOCs are state-required tests and you can not be exempt from these tests.

Students should not sit outside the building in the morning. Please come in at least before 9:25. Anyone who is not in class will be asked to get a tardy. If you are coming into the building at 9:28 or after you will be asked to receive a tardy for class. You are expected to be in your sets by 9:30 and ready to learn.
Students can not be in the hallway during morning announcements. You will be asked to return to class until morning announcements have been made.
Students who are in the 9th grade can only use the picnic tables in the front of the school and the back of the school. If you are located at unauthorized picnic tables there will be consequences.

This is Principal McGeachy with your updates following the long Thanksgiving break. I hope that each of you had an opportunity to spend time visiting with family and friends and reflecting on the many blessings in your life. With November quickly coming to an end, EOC testing and final exams are just around the corner- 14 school days to be exact- so attendance in every class and every day remains important. As a gentle reminder, EOC tests are state-mandated, and scholars cannot be exempted from those assessments. For those underclassmen who missed their class pictures, the photographer will be doing retakes on Friday, December 1st. Please contact Mrs. Tabitha Edwards if you require additional information.

The last day of instruction for our scholars will be Tuesday, November, 21st. With only 17 instructional days left before we begin EOC testing, our teachers are still providing valuable instruction, so attendance remains important. On a personal note, I wish each of you a happy Thanksgiving, and may you enjoy time spent with family and friends. Whether your travels take you near or far, please be safe.

If your child is a rising 10th through 13th grader, meaning they are currently in high school, you can choose for them to stay with NCPS for the same school year.
Tuesday's event will be in-person and virtual, where you'll learn more about the process and the next steps.

Please be sure to check your emails for volunteer opportunities that Mrs. Sweet has sent out to you. All volunteer forms are in the kiosk located at the front office.
Please do not kick soccer balls in the grill or engage in horseplaying. Please be mindful of the noise level in all areas of the school and Nash Community College.
Students are asked to put their Crocs in sports mode, and should keep their shoes in sports mode!
If you are out of the NCPS dress code and you can not get your parents to bring clothes, you will be sent to ISS for the day.
Only one earbud can be worn while you are in transition. Earbuds must be taken out during class.
