This week will be another great week at the Nest!
Beginning Monday, we will begin our Annual Food Drive. Foods will be accepted like canned foods, Boxed foods that will not spoil. The Food Drive will run through Friday, Nov. 8th.
We will also have Red Ribbon Week this week. Each day will be a fun activity to remind our students to say no to drugs and other harmful practices. Here are the items for each day.
Monday – Bright Colors
Tuesday - Favorite Team Jersey Day
Wednesday – Crazy Hair, Crazy Socks Day
Thursday – Dress like your favorite Story Book Character Day
Friday – Wear your Red Day
Beginning Monday, October 25th, Breakfast serving will end at 8:15 for all car riders. Our Tardy bell rings at 8:00. If a student arrives by car and is passed 8:15, he/she will be directed straight to their homeroom class. Breakfast will also be closed at 8:15 for Bus students arriving prior to 8:15. Only late buses will be permitted to get breakfast passed 8:15.
Also, please be reminded that students arriving after 8:00 must be signed in by the parent in the office. We try to get everyone in as we are going in to start the day, once all personnel are inside, parents must park and come in to sign. Personnel on Duty will be going in by 8:00 each morning.
Wednesday, October 30th, The Scouting Program will have a Scouting Night Meeting to inform parents about joining the Scouts in the School Media Center from 6-7PM
Thursday is Halloween Day. Please be reminded that students are not to dress up in Halloween outfits. The only dressing up that will be permitted is for red Ribbon Week’s Book Character.
