Good evening Spring Hope Families,
It looks like we are tagged as “it” now that Spring Break is closing. I hope everyone had a great week with friends and family. Now it is time we get back and in swing for a strong finish to the 24-25 school year!
As we return this week, teachers will be pushing hard to complete new instruction and turn to reviewing the year’s instruction with students. We use data from our Benchmark assessments to guide teachers what standards need to be “re-taught”. This time is so important for our students because this is their chance to recover items missed during the year. It is crucial that students are present and be present the entire instructional day. Material review is almost impossible to make-up if missed because it is mainly teacher led review and help on specific items. AS we get closer to assessment dates, planning will almost be a daily plan and the teacher will not have time to stop and figure out how to help a student make-up material. Please help us as much as possible.
Beginning, Thursday, May 1st, Breakfast serving will end at 8:00 am when the tardy bell rings. However, breakfast will still be served for a late bus since that is out of parent control.
Following our MClass Assessments, I will be sending out Retention letters to those students whose data is reflecting the need to be retained. Parents will have the opportunity to accept the retention or to schedule a meeting for an appeal with the team. Letters will be sent approx. May 12, 2025.
I have updated important dates with information for you below. These dates will also be added to the events Calendar on our website.
Thanks for your attention and support and as always, it is a pleasure to serve as your Principal!
